Flash BG

Just whipping together some Flash BGs; some are still in progress but I thought I'd share this finished one.

Treehouse mouse

The hanging gazebo was inspired by a candleholder/lantern(which is sitting right next to me, actually). It looked kinda like a cool little house ;)

I had problems with the VGA/DVI adapter cable for my cintiq but it turns out my VGA output dies/turns yellow when it gets too hot(which is IMMEDIATELY after opening PS)... like heck I'm gonna wait around for it to be fixed! I put a little room fan next to the comp to keep it extra cool >B-)
...And then I discovered the cintiq screen is way less saturated than my main monitor so painting on it is gonna be a slight nuisance but haha LIFE GOES ON

Hung out at the Quay today and saw some seagulls harass people for food, then I wanted a corndog, then I wanted to draw a mermaid. Voila


(Also, I got a 12" cintiq and wanted to try it out tonight! Excitement abounds)
